Description
The non-conformist distillers at the Bruichladdich Distillery are proud to share their Gaelic forefathers attributes. They’re stubborn, resolute, straight-talking and passionate with a charming, roguish quality (All their own words). They truly believe in honouring the past but they also believe in innovation and moving forward. Enter, Port Charlotte. This whisky was conceived, distilled, matured and bottled on Islay alone. The nose is smoky, rich and earthy before a subtle wave of caramel. On the palate is a smooth balance of flavour with coconut hints, vanilla and honey followed by a fudgy, barley finish.
