Description
Delord Frères Vieil Armagnac 1945 comes in its original wooden gift case. A rare and historic Armagnac and a fitting tribute to a year in which WWII ended.
Delorod’s Armagnac story began in 1893 when Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller and cellar master, took his alambic from farm to farm, transforming white wine into Armagnac. But it wasn’t until 1932 that Delord dug its own roots when Prosper’s sons Gaston and Georges started the Armagnac house Delord Frères in Lannepax. Producers, distillers and traders, they gradually sold their Bas-Armagnacs from Gascony to the United States.
In 2001 Sylvain and Jérôme Delord, Gaston’s grandsons, formed a new fraternity in the company; one who noses, tastes and blends and the other skilled in the art of its promotion.
