Description
Domaine Lagneau is a top-draw Beaujolais producer. Crafting serious cru wines, Lagneau is known for producing ‘funky’ age-worthy Beaujolais. These wines are more akin to the more expensive wines from their Burgundy neighbours to the north.
Lagneau’s 90-year-old vines in Brouilly produce classy wines with great finesse. Blackcurrant and blackcurrant leaf dominate the nose with hints of earthiness. The palate is fleshy and concentrated with lively minerality. This will pair wonderfully with hard cheeses.

Very young fruity as expected and with a layer of extra complexity. Slight caramel nose.
