Description
Louis Jadot is has the broadest reach of any producer in Burgundy. The familier Bacchus-head label has become synonymous with quality and consistency. The masion controls over 200 hectares of vineyards across Burgundy and Beaujolais including some prestigious Grand Cru sites.
Located in the southern half of Burgundy, the wines of Macon are often riper than other Burgundies. Jadot’s Macon-Villages is no different. Aromas peach and apricot are cut through by green apples and citrus. Hints of a tropical character on the palate with some butterscotch on the finish. Great with poached fish and creamy cheeses.
