Description
With their mature vineyards fed by meltwater from the Andes, family-owned Mendel Wines is a partnership between Roberto de la Mota – one of Argentina’s most respected and experienced winemakers – and the Sielecki family. At 1000 meters above sea level, the grapes ripen slowly, allowing the flavours to intensify. Following careful selection, hand harvesting and artisanal vinification, the character of the wines produced by Mendel is testament to their dedication to the craft.
Classic, big and bold Argentinian Malbec from Mendel. Inky and purplish in the glass, the nose is filled with blackberry, black plum, chocolate and violet aromas. The palate is rich, concentrated and structured with ripe tannin. A floral freshness on the finish makes you go back for more. As with many malbecs this is best enjoyed with red meat but will also pair nicely with strong hard cheeses.

Nice Malbec big and inky. Loads is black fruit and currents.
