Description
The La Monacesca estate is located in a beautiful spot in the Appenine Mountain Range. The combination cooling mountain breezes and warm summers are perfect for crafting high quality white wines. Their excellent terroir is frequently recognised with critical appraise.
Made from a small clay-soiled vineyard in Matelica, Monacesca’s estate Verdicchio is as refreshing as it is complex. Aromas of lemon, apricot, anise and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied but refreshed with a minerally finish. This will pair excellently with grilled white fish or even a richer mediterranean fish stew.
