Nautilus Sauvignon Blanc displays intense lifted aromas of blackcurrant, guava, ripe grapefruit and a hint of smoky flint. The palate introduces delightful citrus based mouth-watering intensity and finishes with a strong textural component. Perfect with crunchy fish tacos with zesty yoghurt, lime & chive sauce.

    Description

The mathematically perfect spiral of the Nautilus shell has been admired since  ancient Greek times. This shape is found throughout nature: in the growth of seeds on a sunflower head, in the air movement of a cyclone, or in the spiral through which a hawk flies towards its prey. This natural balance and proportion is what the team at Nautilus estate are striving for in their wines.

The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is an elegant and supple bottling from Nautilus. Yes, it has classic Sauvignon flavors of passionfruit and grapefruit, but the volume's turned down so you can dial in to the whole bottle. The naturally low-yielding growing season has imbued the wine with a core of intensity, which persists on the textured, fresh finish.
