This vibrant Sauvignon blanc bursts with notes of lime and elderflower, with hints of blackcurrant and fennel on the nose. The palate shows a lovely brightness and distinct notes of lemon and lime on the palate. An elegant wine, with great acidity and a nice round finish.

    Description

Reyneke wines is the gold standard in organic and biodynamic viticulture. When standing among the vines, one can see the vines are healthier here than the neighbouring vineyards. Johan Reyneke has pioneered biodyanimcs and natural winemaking in South Africa, thanks to his success the movement is growing!

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Biodynamic offers light grass clipping and kiwi fruit scents on the nose, touches of nettle and dandelion emerging with time. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh, easing off toward a finish that would benefit from a little more weight. But this is a fine Sauvignon Blanc overall.
