Description
In 2008, a wild and rugged stretch of coastline on the north-eastern tip of New Zealand’s South Island became home to one of the most sustainable wineries in the world. The first winery in the world to be Toitū carbonzero certified from inception. Seaview Vineyard, the home of Yealands Wines, was once a rugged, rolling stretch of pastoral land, that was thought to be too wild, windswept and undulating for growing grapes. Yealands have turned this land into one of the most dramatic vineyards in New Zealand.
Notes of dark cherries, plums, violets and warming spices dominate the nose. The palate is full and structured, yet elegant with flavors of luscious dark cherry, balanced with a fine tannins and mineral acidity. Enjoy with a truffle and musrhoom risotto.
